Monetizing low-cost feedstock

G2G™ - Gas-to-Gasoline allows clients to monetize low-cost feedstock such as natural gas, heavy hydrocarbons and biomass by converting it into ultra-low sulfur gasoline. The solution is a combination of two existing technologies: Lurgi MegaMethanol™ and ExxonMobil Methanol-to-Gasoline (MTG). By uniting these two processes in a single solution, G2G™ helps clients minimize project interfaces, simplify logistics and reduce investment and operating costs for synthetic fuel production.

The technology can be extremely profitable thanks to significant differences between feedstock prices and the market value of wholesale oil products. The gasoline product is low in benzene and has no sulfur compounds, allowing it to measure up to the most demanding environmental standards. It can be used as a refinery blending stock or as a transportation fuel for domestic use and export.

Thanks to its global network of Air Separation Unit (ASU) and syngas facilities, Air Liquide Engineering & Construction can also provide synergistic solutions for G2G™ projects.
